Join the Ulster County Office for the Aging, NY Connects, the Ulster County Department of Social Services, and community partners for the 2026 Human Services Expo “Trunk or Treat” event.
As part of the event, Ellenville Rural Health Network’s “An Ounce of Prevention” initiative will provide substance use prevention information, training, and resources to help support community health and safety.
This collaborative event brings prevention services directly into community spaces, making important health and safety resources accessible to residents.

About An Ounce of Prevention:
Ellenville Rural Health Network’s “An Ounce of Prevention” series brings preventive services into community spaces, based on the idea that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
Together with the Ulster County Office for the Aging and community partners, the initiative helps residents access information, training, and resources in welcoming community settings.
Community members are encouraged to attend, connect with local organizations, and learn about services available throughout Ulster County.
