NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESMENT ROLL

NOTICE OF COMPLETION shall be published once in the official newspaper of the Town of Denning and a copy of the published notice posted on the signboard at the entrance of the Town Clerk’s office stating that the Assessor has completed the Tentative Roll, where the roll may be examined and when and where Grievance Day will be held (rptl § 506,526(1), 1526).

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sole Assessor of the Town of Denning, County of Ulster has completed the Tentative Roll for the current year and that a copy has been left with the Town Clerk at the Denning Town Hall, 1567 Denning Road, Claryville, NY 12725 where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until the fifth Wednesday in May 2024 during regular business hours or by appointment.

The Board of Assessment review will meet on Wednesday, May 29th, 2024 between the hours of 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Denning Town Hall, 1567 Denning Road, Claryville, NY 12725 to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments, on the written application of any person believing themselves to be aggrieved.

FOB: Blacktop Hot Mix Type 6, and Blacktop Hot Mix Type 7.

The material must be of such grade as to be acceptable to the Town of Denning Highway Superintendent. Sand for all locations shall be screened, clean, hard sharp and free from loam, clay, frozen lumps, or organic material with 100% passing through a 3/8-inch sieve.

All bids should be delivered price only, except for FOB black top type 6 & 7, together with Non-Collusive Bidding Certification.

Upon acceptance of bid price, bidder shall in turn notify the Town of Denning Highway Superintendent when he has at least 100 tons of material stockpiled for the Town of Denning in order that the testing may be done by the Highway Department or by a designated agent for final approval.

Bid Forms and Non-collusive Bidding Certifications are available from the Town Clerks Office or the Town Highway Superintendent. Forms and Certifications must be in a sealed envelope with the company name clearly visible and marked BID. Bids may be mailed to: Town of Denning, P.O. Box 277, Claryville, N.Y. 12725

All sealed bids must be received by Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 prior to the commencement of the Town of Denning Town Board Meeting; to begin at 6:00 P.M. during SAID meeting All Bids will be publicly opened and read. The meeting is to be held at the Denning Town Hall, 1567 Denning Road, Claryville, N.Y. 12725.

The Highway Superintendent must be informed upon ordering of any and all fuel charges to be added to any material delivery, followed by a fax to serve as written notice.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that I, Nancy A Parrow, Tax Collector for the Town of Denning, Ulster County, State of New York, have received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Denning for the year 2024.

Town of Denning, Claryville, NY 12725 is looking for Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Denning Septic Maintenance District project will be received by The Town of Denning at the Town Office, 1567 Denning Road, Claryville, New York until 1:00 P.M., on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

NOTICE OF RESOLUTION ADOPTED SUBJECT TO
PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Claryville Fire District of the Town of Denning, Ulster County, New York, at the regularly scheduled meeting thereof, held on January 9th,2019, duly adopted the following resolution;

BE IT RESOLVED; pursuant to the provisions of the General Municipal Law and the Town Law of the State of New York, that the sum not to exceed $450,000.00 be expended for the purchase of one (1) new pumper tanker and associated equipment. Funds will be disbursed from the Capital reserve funds and that the Secretary of the Fire District shall, within ten working days of the adoption of the resolution, publish a notice within the official newspaper of the Fire District setting forth the date of the adoption of the resolution and an abstract of the resolution concisely stating the purpose and effect thereof and that the resolution was adopted subject to a permissive referendum.
